Spring 2018 Meeting Dates and Elections!

Aloha APhA-ASP members!

Thank you for coming out to our first General Meeting of the semester! The following are the dates, times, and locations for the rest of our General Meetings this semester:

Friday, March 2 (2nd General Meeting - Elections) 3-5 PM, LPLH2

Tuesday, April 3 (3rd General Meeting) 12-1 PM, LPLH2

Tuesday, April 17 (Spring Membership Drive; P3's Only) 12-1 PM, LPLH1

Thursday, April 26 (4th General Meeting) 12-1 PM, LPLH2

As a reminder, Executive Board elections for the 2018-2019 school year are coming up. In order to run for an executive board position, you must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. In addition, APhA-ASP has a point requirement to run for positions, and the requirements are as follows:

• President-Elect (10 points)

• Vice President (10 points)

• Treasurer (8 points)

• Secretary (8 points)

• Historian (6 points)

• Activities Coordinator (6 points)

• Vice President of Communications (6 points)

• Vice President of Membership (8 points)

• International Vice President (6 points)

• Vice President of Policy (6 points)

• Chapter Delegate (8 points)

• Aloha Project Co-Chair (10 points)

• Outreach Coordinator (8 points)

• Research Coordinator (6 points)

As a reminder, the President-Elect and Aloha Project Co-Chair positions (in bold) are both TWO YEAR commitments as you will be shadowing and learning for the first year, and then taking over the position in the second year. As such, they are positions for current P1's only! If you have ANY questions about any of the available positions, please feel free to speak to the respective officers. If you have questions related to the format of elections or any other details, please feel free to reach out to me!

ALL Letters-of-Intent will be due on Thursday, February 22 at 11:59PM.

ELECTIONS will be at our next General Meeting, on March 2 from 3-5PM in LPLH2.
