September is World Alzheimer’s Month and September 21 is World Alzheimer’s Day. This year will be the 6th global World Alzheimer’s Month since it was launched in 2012. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia that affects 1 in 10 people aged 65 or older. Around 2 in 3 people globally believe that dementia is not understood very well by the people in their countries. Join us in wearing purple to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease! Represent our chapter and help show our IPSF spirit and appreciation for Alzheimer’s Day! Contact our International Vice President, Jhoana at jpmg@hawaii.edu for more information!
